What is actually being elected?
Curently university-wide elections are happening. Elections for the student representative bodies and for the univeristy committees.
Technically two elections are happening, but you vote for everything on one digital ballot.
University Committees
You can find official information here.
- Senat: The senat is quite literally the parliament of the uni. Important decissions which are affecting
the complete uni are being made here. You are voting for student representative.
This is where you can vote for us! - Fakultätskonvente: In this committee decisions are being made that affect only the specific faculty. You can vote for a student representative, most are from the respective student councils.
Student Committees
You can find official information about the student elections here.
- StuPa: The student parliament is one of the most import representation bodies of the uni. It writes
statements on important political topics, decides about the finances of the student body, votes
on statutes and regulations. It also votes the AStA.
This is where you can vote for us! - Student Councils (Fachschaftsvertretungen): Student Councils represent the interests of students of certain degree courses at the university.
Members of your student council help you with questions regarding your studies, organize events
e.g. partys, game nights or the famous "Ersti-Woche".
Elected members of the student councils are allowed to vote on decisions regarding the finances. It is not neccessary to be elected to participate in the student council!

It is best to inform yourself about the positions of the specific lists and candidates.

We are listed as Die Fachschaften × UDP (StuPa) and Die Fachschaften (Senat)!
Why are we your best choice? With our experience gained through the student councils and
committee work, we know best where whe can help, improve and optimise. We want to concentrate
on making our university a better place for everyone, independent from any political party.
And to bring the core interests from the student body back to the limelight.
You can find our program in our manifesto, but here is a small
highlight of our most important points:
- More students in the committes!
- More visibility and gratitude for volunteer work!
- A fixed semester fee that does not rise
- More affordable meal prices
- A larger focus on teaching!
- A campus without discrimination!
- More accessible infrastructure!
- More and better money distribution!
- Better digitalization!
How do I Vote?
The election is completely online. You only need to login to the election portal with your stu-account. From the long list of candidates you chose the one you want. If you've casted your vote, you need to submit it. Please check that you have only picked one person/group per committee.
Vote Fachschaften × UDP!
If you vote for us, please pick the one person you find the most appealing. If you can't
decide, just pick anyone of us!
